About Us

Our passion is to help women break out of the cycle of poverty. Our goal is to be the coziest hangout in town.

At J.Lynn’s, we have a dream for Rwandan women who are trapped in lives of subsistence -- women who are uneducated, unsupported, and who work long, difficult days just to get by. In my dream, these women have the opportunity to do more than just survive. They live joyfully, with hope for their future. They develop their talents, and deepen their relationships in order to transform their communities, and leave a legacy of courage and strength for their children.

That’s why J.Lynn’s was created. We have a wholesome, and ever-growing breakfast & lunch menu, and desserts & special-order cakes unlike anything else in the city. But we are also a training ground for Rwandan women who are dreaming of something more sustainable for their lives. We hire single moms and women who are all vulnerable, and invite them into our community of mentorship and education.
